Learn how to tie a necktie knot with Tieroom



Four in hand

1 - Start with the wide end on you left side.
2 - Cross the wide end over the thin end.
3 - Pull the wide end under the thin end where the ends cross.
4 - Pull the wide end over the same point.
5 - Pull the wide end up and through the opening but without tightning. A new opening is created in front of the existing.
6 - Pull the weide end through the new opening and tighten.
7 - Carefully grab the knot and push it upwards whilst you are pulling down on the slim end. Then fold down the collar and adjust the tie again by pushing the knot or pulling the ends if necessary.

The necktie in the film is Notch Abraham.



Full Windsor

1 - Start with the wide end on your left side.
2 - Cross the wide end over the thin end.
3 - Pull the wide end up through the opening.
4 - Pull the wide end horizontally behind the knot.
5 - Pull the wide end down through the knot.
6 - Pull the wide end horizontally over the knot.
7 - Pull the wide end upp through the opening but without tightning. This should create a new opening in front of the existing. 
8 - Pull the wide end through the newly created opening and pull to tighten.
9 - Carefully grab the knot and push it upwards at the same time as you are pulling down the thin end. Fold down the collar and adjust the tie again by pushing the knot or pulling the ends if necessary.

Let the wide end hang down further in the start position and try again.
