At Tieroom we sometimes get questions about how to wear ties and bow ties in a more casual way, at more informal occasions or more relaxed workplaces. Here are a few suggestions when you want to up your dressing game with a tie or bow tie, and still coming across as fun, alive, dynamic and not too formal.

When Tieroom started out with neckties six years ago, bow ties were of course in the back of our minds. But business and time flies, and it wasn't until three years later that we actually brought home our first bow tie collection, something we've never had to regret. About the same time ever more celebrities, like George Clooney, Brad Pitt and the likes started showing up on red carpets around the world sporting bow ties.

Every fashion retailer needs to go through his collection periodically, and purge it so to speak, a bit like you sometimes have to cull a forest or flowerbed so that what’s left can grow better, or because you want to plant something new there. Some thing’s gotta give for other things to live. The result of this tie purgatory is often a sale.
