Ash is a light wood, moving toward yellow. It's ductile and tough and easy on the eye. For a discreet display, his tie bar works well on lighter coloured ties, or as contrasting visual element on dark ties. Apparently ash is excellent as firewood – but we certainly hope you're not planning any bonfires with our tie bars.
