The tie is absolutely fine—in terms of fabric and workmanship. However, I'm deducting one star because the fabric appears to have been waterproofed/treated (or it's the dye), which gives off a strong, gunpowder-like odor. A thorough wash and a steam iron improved it a bit, so it's fine for me. Perhaps the "ingredients list" should be checked again.

This is the PERFECT colour for a blue suit! Very pleased with it and the fabric is fantastic!
